A limerick by Shawn Alexander
on a frozen winter day ...

There once was a skipper from Boston
He helped me in Florida get fish on.
The dawn was ars cold,
The fish weren't bold,
My fingers to rods were a-frostin'.

My throat was incessantly flemming;
The boat, she was hawing and hemming.
I had to bait-cast
In forty knot blasts
We nearly ran home like a lemming.

But then we arrived at some hot-spots:
They soon started biting in big lots.
Fifty we landed
But all were stranded
Since none of them fit in the keep slots.

In all, it was so pleasantly fair,
That trip - started in cool winter air.
We came and fished
And none of us wished
We'd gone anywhere else but there.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! My name is Captain Tony Kozloski ... I've been fishing Mosquito Lagoon since the mid 80's. I would like to extend an invitation to you, to experience the famous backwaters of Mosquito Lagoon and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife that the Lagoon has to offer. While on an adventure with me you are likely to see a wide variety of wildlife, including: manatees (at the right time of year), White Pelicans, a variety of fish, and yes even dolphins, there is no limit to what kind of wildlife we could see in and on the water! I specialize in fishing for Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon or anything that takes the bait! Just imagine, sitting out on the water, the cool breeze on your face and the warmth of the sun on your cheek, nothing but the relaxing sway of the waves gently rocking the boat then, a hard tug on your rod and you've got a fish on! Get ready to fight, you could bring this fish home! Does this appeal to you? If it does give me call, and I can arrange a memorable trip for you! So join me, Captain Tony Kozloski, and let's catch some fish!
